To start a new search:

a) Enter a search phrase or key words in the "Search Phrase" field.
b) If necessary, change the language of your search phrase or adjust other search options.
c) Click the "New Search" picture, then drag and drop it onto a desired set of search engines in the left upper pane of the SSSpider main window.

 To add a new search engine to the SSSpider Registry:

Using the right mouse button, click the pane "Search Engines", then select the menu item "New". Visit the Kryloff Web site to see a list of SSSpider-compatible Search Engines Adding new (and powerful) engines may considerably improve the search quality of SSSpider reports.

 To update search engine sets:

a) Go to the Search Engines pane in the left bottom corner of the SSSpider main window.
b) Select one or several search engines, then drag and drop your selection onto a desired search set.

 To check search engines:

a) Go to the Search Engines pane in the left bottom corner of the SSSpider main window.
b) Select a search engine to check: a grayed out icon serves as an indicator that a particular engine needs checking.
c) Click the icon using the right mouse button and select the menu item "Check ..."

 To postpone running new queries:

Drag, then drop the "New Search" picture on the pane "Query Folder". This way you may first, enter one or several queries and save them in the Query Folder, then execute any or all of them at a later time.

 To start executing postponed queries:

Drag, then drop your selection of postponed queries onto a desired Search Engine Set.
